Welcome to Snappers on Straddie, a boutique 5 unit complex in the heart of Point Lookout. Positioned at the front of the complex on the ground level this unit boasts 100sqm of internal space with polished concrete floors. The unit has a large open plan living/dining area with air-conditioning and there is a chef's kitchen with Island timber bench tops. The bedroom has a queen size bed and there are also two single beds in the living area. The unit opens out onto a relaxing garden area with a BBQ and outdoor seating for your use. Please note that the garden area is used by other guests for access to the other apartments.

At the front of the property there is a communal laundry with washing machine and dryer, a storage area for the surf boards and beach toys as well as an outdoor hot/cold shower for guests to rinse off after a day at the beach. Positioned close to a bus stop and an easy walk to all beaches and local shops, you won’t need to bring the car. There is a pedestrian gate to the right of the property that provides access to an easement which leads to Frenchman’s and Deadman’s Beach via the Whale Track. There is also access to free street parking.

    We had an enjoyable stay in unit 5. It is very spacious for kids to play and games and puzzles were provided. Entertainment can be a problem as there was no signal for free-to-air channels. We finally managed to access ABC Iview, but I would recommend bringing logon details and passwords for netflix etc.
    We had some issues with maintenance in the bathroom but overall we were quite comfortable, and found it surprisingly quiet. We were lucky to get the only off-street parking spot, but in busier times the only parking would be on the other side of the road.
    The agents were only a couple of blocks away and were very prompt and friendly when we had problems getting in the front door on arrival.

    Comfortable room, nice and open and clean. We enjoyed our short stay. Close to the beaches and cafe/restaurants.

    The place was huge, super clean and open. Amazing kitchen, everything you need to stay comfortably. And it's shaded from the sun in the day so stays relatively cool even without the aircon. A total delight.
