Boatshed is a well-located two-level townhouse, perfectly positioned just moments from Cylinder and Deadman’s Beaches. Set in a central location, it’s an easy walk to the beach, local shops, restaurants and the hotel—making it an ideal base for a laid-back Straddie holiday.

The home features open-style living with breezeways that capture the coastal air and create a light, relaxed atmosphere. Upstairs, you’ll find the master bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite, along with the main living areas and kitchen. This level also opens out to an outdoor entertaining area complete with a BBQ, perfect for enjoying warm evenings after a day at the beach.

Downstairs are two additional bedrooms, each with two single beds, along with a central bathroom and laundry equipped with a top-load washing machine and dryer. Undercover parking is available for one vehicle.

With its unbeatable location and comfortable layout, Boatshed is a great choice for families or groups looking to enjoy everything Point Lookout has to offer—just a short stroll from sand, surf and local amenities.

    Cylinders Beach a short walk away. Bus stop conveniently located out the front.
    IRL Boatshed is not as it appears in the listing, it is a much older & sadder. It is also not a 'rare find'. Although the place was tidy, it was not clean - it felt ick sitting on the lounge, opening up cupboards etc.

    Each and every room & cupboard had its own disgusting smell which was really hard to get rid off, especially at night as none of the windows/doors had screens. If each room wasn't closed up (and kept shut) by 4pm you were eaten alive by the island's mossi population. Mossi coils should have been supplied to kill the mossis AND hide the smells.

    Other things that guests should be told:
    - the house is on a shared block meaning that the neighbours are close, real close
    - the 'breezeways' are actually outdoor hallways that connect separate dwellings eg. the upstairs bedroom is separate to the the lounge/kitchen and each of the bedrooms downstairs are stand alone, as is the bathroom
    - much maintenance is needed - I shouldn't have to give Ray White a list! Take a walk through, turn on the lights, try the keys in the locks, turn the shower on.

    I would not stay here again if you paid me to.

    Good location, nicely presented and good for families but needs updates. Surface cleaning fine but maintenance and Spring Clean required. No keys left as indicated and had to chase them from real estate. No A/C on an unfortunately hot weekend. Could do with hooks and some hangers in the downstairs bedrooms. But an enjoyable stay.

    The property was suitable for our holiday but the cleaning of one bath room and toilet had not been carried out and were not in a good state.The washing machine was not working when we arrived and took nearly 2 weeks to be repaired.

    Great, affordable holiday rental in a good location but house maintenance and cleanliness needs to be vastly improved. There was pet hair on the lounges, hair and dust under the beds, mould on the downstairs blinds and the mattress and pillow protectors were filthy. The smoke alarms downstairs were also disconnected. A leaking water pipe shut down the hot water for 4 days, and although it's understandable getting a plumber is hard at the moment and during a long weekend, no compensation or alternative was offered. Overall a well set up house, just needs to be better looked after.

    the property is not what the pictures show. It's in need of some maintenance. the doors couldn't even open properly and a repairer had to be called in. the furniture was about 20 years old and should be in the dump. cobwebs everywhere and cieling fans where loaded with dust so couldn't be used. however the worst part was that there is no internet connection. in todays age this should be a standard or at the very least noted on the property details.
