This spacious beach house boasts room for all the family with open plan kitchen, 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.

Features of this luxury home are: large master bedroom with King bed and ensuite, 3 other bedrooms with 2 Queen and 2 Single beds. There is also a single bed in the downstairs lounge allowing a total of 9 guests.

The kitchen is extremely well stocked with ample crockery, cutlery, bowls and dishes, coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher. There are ceiling fans throughout and the laundry has a top load washer and clothes dryer.

WIFI supplied and the house is fully airconditioned.

The front and back yards are both securely fenced and the garage has internal access.

  It is our second time booking through Ray White Straddie and it is always seamless. The team are very attentive and friendly. Although Amalfi doesn't have the best view, it is certainly well worth it. You can just see the ocean through the trees. The house comfortably slept two families of 4 and you could easily host another family. The kitchen was super well equipped, everything you need. Great location. You could walk to the beach (a bit hard with little ones due to the hills), easy to get to Point Lookout and then back to day trips to Dunwich and Amity. Thank you to the owners! We had a lovely holiday. We would highly recommend.

  Our 50's+ group have had an enjoyable and memorable stay at Amalfi.
  As always there are a few positives and negatives, so I'll try to be constructive.
  Location: Fantastic for driving to both Flinders (access #3) and Main Beach (access #1). Located on the hill behind Point Lookout, ocean views are limited due to tree growth blocking Flinders Beach views.
  Access: Several stairs from the enclosed garage to the top level kitchen, master and balcony which maybe challenging for some.
  Cleaning: As with most of these high turnover properties, facial cleaning is great, however a deep clean would be good (above fridges, blinds, window frames).
  Maintenance: Once again sometimes property managers are not aware, so I'll expand -
  (a) Rear Door/Laundry Lock was falling apart.
  (b) Range Hood Light needs new bulb.
  (c) Cookware range is extensive, however frying pans are all non-stick and scratched terribly, one we managed to use. [Simple solution for owner, get rid of them].
  Summary: Overall we had an enjoyable time, I wouldn't stay again as the stairs were too much for myself, however younger travellers would be fine.

  Booked this house for my birthday weekend and it was well worth it! House was super clean on arrival. Teenagers loved the space downstairs. House well provisioned with books, board games and kitchen had everything we needed. Took our elderly Border x Kelpie so it was great to have the fenced yard area for him. Deck area nice and elevated.

  The property's position was excellent as it was adjacent to a house where other family members were staying. Because of the young ages of the children, everyone had to stay on the middle & lower level. The master bedroom on the upper level was too far from the young children overnight. The inside was very clean but the external entrance steps and landing are not swept by the cleaners. Its a house better suited to families with school age children and above.

  The property is in a great location and fantastic for a large group of people. The only criticism was a few minor maintenance issues. The back door (laundry) key was bent and unable to open. There were a few lamps that needed new globe. Some wall fixtures (towel rails) and knobs on drawers were broken. The blinds were dusty. Otherwise it was fantastic! The kitchen was well supplied and sitting up on the deck off the kitchen was where we spent all our time in the house.

  The house was great for a large extended family. However, the furnishings were worn out (lounge) and very difficult to sit in. The floors were grimey and the deck definitely needed some attention,perhaps a water blaster. Vacuum cleaner was broken so very difficult to leave the place with clean floors.

  Loved staying here. Close to the headland, small views of the water which we prefer. Beautiful airflow in the house. We just lived on the upper floor.
  The stairs weren't a worry for us but once bub is crawling we will need a sturdy baby gate.
  Only downside we came across was the couch being super duper low to the ground. But the couch was more comfortable than most other rentals we have stayed in.

  The house was very well maintained, everything you need for a large family gathering. Kitchen had everything you could wish for, to self cater. Two large fridges was an excellent idea.   Its certainly the cleanest place we have stayed in in over 20 years of visits to Straddie. The kitchen is very well equipped. But there are a few negatives, Like a broken window blind in the main bedroom that we had to cover with a Towell. The Barbecue was filthy as was the Tumble dryer. One of the wheelie bins had not been emptied and was full of maggots. No aircon in main bedroom is crazy with our humidity. No sea view as advertised and a lot of noise from street if you sit out on balcony. The biggest killer was the stairs, 28 up and 28 down. no good for small kids or old folk. we will not return.

  We stayed at Amalfi for 6 nights and I can’t recommend it highly enough! We had 2 families - 4 adults, 4 children and it there was plenty of room for everyone. This holiday home has everything! The kitchen is the most well stocked of any holiday rental I’ve ever stayed at - including cocktail shakers, beer coolers, heaps of platters, bakeware and every utensil ever invented. It has 2 fridges, great laundry and an excellent deck with big table and BBQ. This rental was extremely clean and well maintained. The beds really comfortable and rooms spacious. We had an excellent stay, and will be back!

  The house was lovely and big which was great for our extended family, and great there was a fenced yard for the dogs. There is a very steep set of stairs inside though which made it very difficult for my elderly parents, and old dog to move around, and steps up into the house and down into the backyard, so if you have anyone with mobility concerns, this may not be the best place. Aside from this, it was well equipped, clean, and comfortable, and a short drive or walk down to the beach.

  Lovely house, great location, spent a great stay with two families fitting very comfortably in the accomodation. The master bedroom and ensuite were huge. The dog loved the sheltered and fenced yard and under the house. So close to home beach for a run and swim along the beach. Straddie is our happy place. Road and parking was a little difficult due to happy hour at Pandanus Palms.

  We stayed here with a few families, including young children and dogs. It was a great property with plenty of space for everyone and close to the beach. The property was also very well fenced so the dogs were safe being left outside.
  
  The only downside was that the bedside table draws had dirty tissues from previous guests. Apart from this, the house was very clean!
