Welcome to your coastal retreat on Yarrong Road! 8 Yarrong Road 'Pinjarra' has been recently renovated to a very high standard. This four-bedroom home is a true gem, boasting immaculate condition and a prime location in the heart of Point Lookout. Popular beaches, Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel and shops are all within walking distance.

8 Yarrong Road comfortably accommodates eight, making it perfect for two families to share memorable beachside moments. The top floor is dedicated to quality living, with a well-appointed modern kitchen that opens to a large deck. Here, you can have your morning coffee while watching whales during their migration season. A living and dining area offers the ideal space for family gatherings and relaxation. There are two queen sized bedrooms on this level, the master with ensuite and walk-in robe. A family bathroom with laundry is also on this level.

On the lower level, you'll find two more bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other with two single beds as well as a large luxury family bathroom. A second family room with a TV and a table tennis table ensures that there's never a dull moment for the kids.

  We had a wonderful stay at Point Lookout over the xmas period.
  Everything we wanted was walking distance, cylinder beach, stradbroke hotel, bowls club and mini supermarket.
  The only thing that I would note for those that arent from queensland, is there is no aircon throughout, so in the heat of December on days that dont have a nice ocean breeze, its really hot!!!
  Aside from that, it had everything!

  We had an incredibly special family stay over Christmas. Bedrooms split over 2 levels was perfect for different family areas, the kitchen and bathrooms were top notch (clearly been renovated) and being able to sit on the verandah looking out onto the ocean was truly magnificent.
  Despite the lack of air con, the fans in every room were effective, and the proximity to beach and pub were perfect.
  The owners have clearly spent time ensuring this property delivers a relaxing holiday experience for guests and we’d love to stay again.

  We loved the house and location, but it reeks of moth balls. We wound up not really being able to bear sitting inside due to the smell. Outside was amazing though, and you can't beat the view or proximity to the beach, grocery store, and pub.

  The house was fantastic for eight people with ample room to spread out when wanted and great eating options particularly with the expansive deck. The newly renovated bathrooms were lovely and the house generally had all we needed.
  Position was great for walking to shops and or the beach and access to driving tracks was very close.
  Only negatives were the lack of provided info to get in on arrival, no bath mats in two bathrooms and no provided hand towels.

    This house certainly has plenty of space to spread out inside and out, and the recent renovations has brought it to yet another level of luxury. 8 Yarrong Road is not only in the street renown for being the perfect location to walk to all the amenities Point Lookout has to offer, but has oustanding water views.   Very convenient location.
  Not so spectacular:
  1.the bbq was crusted with charred remnants, accumulated since the dawn of time (that's not an exaggeration!)
  2.all the bathrooms are tired. The 2 main bathrooms are seriously overdue for a refurb/makeover. Chipped boards, rusted hangers - rather ordinary.

  We had a four night stay. It was fabulous. The bedrooms were spacious with all you could need. The kitchen was very well equipped. The best part was the view from the top deck. You can walk to the pub, but will probably want to drive to the beaches. One small point is that there are no tables inside. If it is wet, cold or windy, eating on the deck is not pleasant. Overall great. We couldn't be more pleased.

  Great location, fun huge house, great vibe. The view is great from every room and you can watch the whales play in the ocean while you make dinner! Kitchen, living room and deck well furnished with stylish reno. Excellent selection of games and some vacation books to get lost in.
  Rooms well appointed but extra blankets and a heater wouldn't go astray in winter. Bathrooms are adequate but fixtures are needing some attention - you can tell this is a well loved holiday house.
