Nestled in the quiet street of Bigoon Road, this charming three-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage is the ideal getaway for families or small groups.

Situated just a two-minute stroll from the local grocery store, "Bob's Shop," and a popular Fish and Chip shop, convenience is at your doorstep. Guests can also enjoy a leisurely walk to Cylinder Beach, The Gorge Walk, Straddie Hotel, and other nearby attractions.

The cottage features an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area on the ground floor, which is air-conditioned to ensure comfort year-round. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a Queen bed, while the second bedroom accommodates up to three guests with its three single beds. An additional double bed downstairs provides extra sleeping space if needed. After a day at the beach, the outdoor hot and cold shower is a perfect bonus for rinsing off the sand.

The cottage's private, shady front yard is perfect for relaxing or hosting BBQ lunches, often accompanied by visits from local kangaroos and curlews. While the property is not fully fenced, there is a backyard enclosure where pets can be kept in your absence. The home is equipped with WiFi, allowing guests to stream their favourite shows on Netflix or stay connected for work purposes.

    Was a tropical island getaway we all needed. Our 6 month old puppy loved the nearby beaches and it was a perfect location. So close to everything. Air conditioning topped it off. Can't wait to come back.

    Location wise property was in a good position. Overall, we were happy to stay there for the whole duration of our holiday. Aircon were excellent. There were a few issues that I hope gets attention. although there was carpark within the property, but we could not park our car as there was overgrown plants on the side of the fence. Linnen were not really clean. Thank you.

    We really enjoyed our stay. This is a cute little house and had everything we needed.
    We had to clean the front window to see out however, and it needed a good going over (windows, sills and cobwebs).

    Basic but clean beach house perfect for our short beach trip. Really close to the beach and the local shops, well equipped and great for families. Best features were the appliances (dishwasher, washing machine etc) and the outdoor shower. The beds were a vert soft and could do with an upgrade as could the windows which were stiff and difficult to open and close.

    Very clean and tidy house with nice beach style furniture. Very comfortable beds and couch. This house has everything we needed right down to a bbq and fire pit, also washing machine and dryer. My only qualm is that there is NO wifi unfortunately. My son and I stayed for a week in the rain so wifi was missed terribly. Great location

    The house was simple and perfect if you are adventuring the island. The house was not suitable to lounge and relax in. The couches were smelly and uncomfortable and not enough room for 6 people to relax in. Coming all the way from Byron I was really disappointed to have to shop for sponges, dishwashing liquid, soap, salt & pepper and even toilet paper! What happens everytime guests come? Are every visiting party purchasing all the items, every time? It is wasteful and disappointing.

    House was in a good location and well appointed.
    Some tiles had lifted & were a trip hazard to one of our group. The day bed was wet when we arrived but property management did their best to rectify the problem. The bins were exceedingly smelly which made being outside unpleasant. More comfortable chairs would have been nice.

    The street itself is in a great location. However, although this place allows 7 guests to sleep, it only has a 2 seater lounge which was beyond uncomfortable. So the rest of your guests just have to sit on the floor. The dining table is an outdoor setting so not even dining chairs for guests. The outside table couldnt be sat on as the mango tree drops itchy grubs everywhere, every morning the car covered in them. The yard was over grown, poorly designed for parking your vehicle. If you dont like stairs, or you have small children, you need to be aware the upstairs bedrooms have no bathroom so you have to be going up and down steep stairs. Shower is over bathtub, good size bathroom. Kitchen had enough space, and stocked well. Had air con in lounge room and 2 bedrooms upstairs which def was needed. The single bedroom on lower level did not have air con. Unfortunately just not the best layout of a rental home to accommodate several guests. You are not at the beach every second of the day so disappointing to fit everyone inside when not actually sleeping. Has tv that works.

    This little cottage is clean and comfortable, if small. Kitchen is well equipped with utensils and cookware. The only toilet is through the bathroom, which isn’t ideal, but this won’t worry a small family or a couple. Steep stairs up to the 2 bedrooms aren’t suitable for babies, toddlers and elderly. Lovely shady front yard. Walking distance to the convenience store and the beaches.
