This three bedroom, one bathroom house set on two levels is located in Bambara Street and only a short walk to Cylinder and Deadmans Beaches, It is also a short walk to the Straddie Hotel, public transport, restaurants and the Gorge Walk.

Upstairs has 2 bedrooms (1 x Queen & 2 Singles) 1 x bathroom set off of the open living/dining/kitchen.

Downstairs is the bunkroom with 1 x Bunk, television, toilet and laundry. External staircase between levels.

Decks run along the side of the upper level leading to the well maintained garden with BBQ area.

WIFI is supplied

Linen supplied and beds made for your arrival.

  Quite comfortable for 4 people (we didn't use the downstairs area). Lots of crockery, cutlery and cooking gear, although some of the plates and glassware were not cleaned properly before being put away. Some of the saucepans and fry pans were not in a fit state to be used due to dried or burned on food and came complete with cockroach cases.
  The area had functional ceiling fans and plenty of ventilation with good internet.
  The floors and surfaces were nicely cleaned for our check-in, BUT, the accumulated dirt and grime on the window frames and many other spots was a major distraction and negatively impacted our enjoyment of the property. This could be easily resolved by a thorough clean at regular intervals.

  Disappointing stay. Sweet beach shack potential but house /garden poorly maintained. BBQ not functional with gas knobs rusted shut, major construction under way next door and inside bin full of rubbish on arrival. Agency had promised to arrange a rental BBQ which was never followed through on. Agent seemed to listen and sympathise with concerns but never had any follow up from them.

  Updated beach shack in great location to beaches. Getting a bit tired and could use a deeper clean. Downstairs accessed via external stairs. Construction starting on vacant block next door when we stayed.

  This was our first time on Stradbroke and we loved it, Endless Summer was in the perfect location for us and we had a great time, the only slight complaint we had was that it could do with a good clean and a little TLC...also we couldn't use the BBQ as planned as it was too rusty and dirty....other than those minor things it was perfect and we would definitely go back to Endless Summer again.....I'm going to watch the movie again now.

  We had a fantastic stay and couldn't beat the location of the property. We found the property to be in a satisfactorily clean and tidy state. And would genuinely love to stay there again.
  However I have some feedback on the condition of the property. Generally we felt like the house really needs general maintenance/deep cleaning outside of what is expected between holiday rentals.
  
  - The gutters above the stairs on the verandah are completely full, and overflowed onto the deck after only a small amount of rain.
  - Dusty light fittings, pedestal fans and shelves
  - Dirty wall tiles in the bathroom, some mould in the shower also.
  - Huge amount of sand under the rug
  - Torn and very worn cushion covers on the day bed
  - Torn curtains
  - Stained throw/blanket on the daybed
  - Very dirty windows/glass (I understand they are difficult to keep clean in coastal environments, but don't look like they have been done in a very long time)
  - Dusty/flaking/rusting ceiling fans, especially in the living room (could do with replacing)
  
  From a renters perspective we felt like a few little things could go a long way for this house given the high standard of short term holiday rental accommodation available on the market these days.

  Endless Summer was a great property for our family which includes two small children. Our daughters loved their room, the pet kangaroos that visited in the backyard and all the extra TV channels. My husband and I chose the property for its location and it met these expectations. It was great to have the flexibility to either walk or drive to the shops or beach. The Queen bed was one of the comfiest we've slept in which made for an extra restful holiday. Our only issue was the cleanliness inside the cupboards and some of the older appliances which didn't work or needed to be replaced. Additionally there was very little pantry space so I had to rearrange the crockery and wine glasses/tea cups/glasses to make room.

  Overall it was fantastic! I really enjoyed my time at Endless Summer (I love that film) and plan to be back very soon. Great aesthetic and vibe. So good. My only suggestion is that you provide viable bin bags and toilet paper. They are a reasonable thing to expect and very cheap. Only a minor thing. Good times :)
