Welcome to Los Nidos 1, your perfect retreat by the beach! Nestled in a charming complex of just three units, our beautifully renovated getaway is a stone's throw away from the stunning Deadmans and Cylinder beaches, as well as conveniently close to shops, a hotel, and public transport. Situated on the sought-after Prosperity Street, Los Nidos 1 offers easy access to a variety of beaches, local amenities, and transportation options.

There have been thoughtful upgrades in recent years including a new kitchen. The unit features two bedrooms - one with a Queen bed and the other with two single beds. For your entertainment, Los Nidos 1 includes WiFi, a TV, DVD player, and a CD player. Stay comfortable year-round with ceiling fans and air conditioning available in the master bedroom and the inviting kitchen/lounge area. You'll also find thoughtful touches like fly screens on windows, ensuring a bug-free experience.

Los Nidos 1 has patio areas on both sides that really ensure your comfort and help the sea breezes flow through. There is a gas bbq on the deck so that you can cook your catch of the day. There is a washing machine at your disposal for your laundry needs also.

Rest easy knowing that all linen is provided, and your beds will be meticulously made before your arrival - just one less thing to worry about during your escape to paradise.

Please note, while we wish we could accommodate all furry friends, no pets are allowed in this unit. Parking is available on the street, so you can conveniently come and go as you explore the beautiful surroundings.

  We enjoyed our stay at Los Nidos Unit 1. For the price, it was a reasonable space within walking distance of transport and groceries, and even a short walk to return the keys at the end of the trip. We did not bring a car across to the island, so location was paramount in this way. The space felt liveable and while it was only the two of us, it could easily fit a four person family. It was clean and well maintained, and the amenities available were helpful. The screen door (at the time of our visit) did block the unit number, which made it hard to know we were in the right place. If you are looking for a quick trip, it's well situated and this may be the ideal unit for you.

  Fantastic place to stay, walking distance to most beaches or a bike ride, we love that we can park the car for the week and still enjoy all that straddie has to offer. The place is very clean and open Beautiful sun on the large veranda in the mornings and great place to sit in the afternoon and listen to all the birds chirp and Kangaroos feeding on the lawn.
  I would suggest a more comfortable couch but you can manage by doubling up on the cushions.
  We as a family of four have stayed here or the last four years and I highly recommend this property to a all.

  Great location with walking tracks & beaches within walking distance. Issues with false smoke alarms disturbing sleep.   As you have asked me five time to review Los Nidos 1 I will give you an honest opinion.
  It was disappointing and confusing to receive three different instructions for picking up the keys out of hours only to find that when I got there none of them worked. It was Christmas evening and no-one was available to help. Fortunately I was able to climb in through a open window.
  Jenny thanks for replying to my email on Boxing Day so I could at least have a set of keys to use for the rest of the week.
  This is my third visit to these apartments, second to this one. Even though it is dated the position is great, close to everything, beaches, shops, pub etc.
  This time I couldn’t get my car in the garage for the first two days because the owners of the apartments beside me (as I found out later) had used my garage to store their wetsuits, kayaks surf boards etc. and parked their large car in the driveway beside the do not park sign. I overheard the cleaners complaining the owners had left the apartments in a mess and had left food everywhere. Once they had gone I was able to park in the garage.
  The blinds in the apartment particularly the kitchen and in the bedrooms are broken and dirty, replacing them with new ones would help smarten it up a little. Otherwise the apartment has a charm of its own.
  I still like Los Nidos but would search around and compare others first before booking again.
  I wasn’t going to write a review because you can’t help that it rained most of the week and all the staffing problems caused by Covid closed many things.
