Lookout Unit 4

Discover your perfect holiday retreat at Lookout Unit 4, perched high on the hill in Point Lookout. This stunning property boasts 180-degree panoramic views from the South Passage Bar to the Glasshouse Mountains in the west and the Point Lookout Headlands in the east.

As you walk inside, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The unit features two bedrooms on the ground floor with the master bedroom offering an ensuite for your convenience. A second bathroom with laundry ensures you have all the amenities you require during your stay. Both bedrooms open onto a shared balcony where you can relax and watch whales pass by during the migration season.

Upstairs you have a separate living area, providing the perfect retreat for reading a book or catching up on your favourite TV shows. There is also two daybeds here which can be used as extra beds. At the front of the unit is the open plan kitchen, living and dining that seamlessly opens onto the deck.

For added convenience, Lookout Unit 4 offers one undercover carport just outside your front door, making it a breeze to unload your belongings upon arrival. Linen is supplied, and the beds are made prior to your arrival, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Please note that pets are not allowed, as we strive to maintain a peaceful and allergy free environment for all guests.

NB - This unit can sleep 6 people, the two extra beds are daybeds in the living area.

  A more useable outdoor setting would be nice, the chairs are metal and uncomfortable and the table is small. The outside is where i would like to spend more time but the outdoor setting was small and uncomfortable and there is not shade roll down for the afternoon sun.

  Staff at Ray White were fantastic, made us feel welcomed and trusted. Unit overall was very good, and we understand it was not built in the last year or so, but there were a few things that made it less than perfect.
  
  Cleanliness was a worry. Maybe we were there the wrong side of a deep cleaning cycle, however there were cobwebs on the windows, grit all over the floor (we took 2 1/2 hours sweeping it), dust all over the extra linen, plus several pots had caked-on black grime inside them that we had to scrub off before cooking, The oven was lined with filth, and a few of the plates were chipped and lined with black streaks. The rangehood did not work at all.
  
  Biggest concern were the two trip hazards into the bathrooms, each of which have a 3 to 5 centimeter lip from the hallway floor level to the bathroom floor level. One of the people staying with us was a 74 year old friend, and he nearly went over twice. The problem could easily be fixed with some triangular section non-slip rubber.
  
  Overall the negatives were nowhere near enough to make the stay unpleasant (with those views and proximity to everything it's impossible!), but it was enough to take one star off the overall rating.
  
  We will be back in the future, it was that good.
