On the entrance level, there are two bedrooms with ceiling fans, as well as a bathroom for your convenience. Upstairs there is an open-plan living and dining area that seamlessly flows onto a spacious balcony, complete with outdoor dining facilities and a Weber BBQ perfect for those nights in. The fully-equipped kitchen boasts all the essentials and ample storage, making meal preparation a breeze. The main bedroom with its own private balcony, a family bathroom, and a laundry area are all located on this level. Head upstairs again to a mezzanine loft or step out onto the whale watching tower, where another outdoor area invites you to soak in the views.. During whale migration (May - November) this is the perfect place to watch them go by...

    Great service from Ray White. Great location and views.
    The property was generally clean, however there was allot of dirt / mould on the ceiling fans, in corners / crevasses. The window blind in the upstairs bathroom was broken and quite dirty – it fell down twice. I can never understand why houses don’t include a vacuum cleaner to allow one to clean up during the stay & include a decent mop of some sort. There are several loose planks on the main veranda that could pose future safety risks. Suggest also with all the stairs that gates are on the top of the stairs - quite a nightmare if one has small kids (significant risk).

    Amazing location, enjoyed the evening sea breeze. House was desperate for an update, very dusty and unclean on the inside. All kitchen appliances, utensils and pots and pans need replacing.

    Location was perfect with amazing views! However, I feel like the place was lacking basic maintenance and cleanliness. On the 3rd balcony at the very top there were chairs and a glass table but the table had been sitting there for quite some time rotting away, there were bits of rusted metal all over the floor which meant we couldn’t walk around up there as it was very unsafe and to the right was a brand new table top still sitting in the box that no one has bothered to replace. Hand soaps in bathroom and kitchen were empty on arrival, bathroom towel had a massive hole through it and stains all over it which is quite gross. (Doesn’t cost much for them to buy a cheap towel). Spiders and cob webs everywhere on the walls. Couch had stains all over it but was comfy... could do with an upgrade. Overall was an alright stay... you’re paying for the view basically.

    The house is ideally positioned with marvelous ocean views - we were able to see whales and dolphins from the several balconies and even our dining table.
    The house is well equipped, clean and tidy and only a short drive from beaches and shops at Point Lookout. We would love to visit there again some day.

    Our stay was very enjoyable.The view is amazing and uninterrupted. The house is very spacious (please note the advertised window view is on an unused floor that brings in a generous amount of natural light which we loved for a lovely sunrise). The furniture was good however, when we arrived there were broken and rusted outdoor chairs aswell as the couch being, to put it lightly, gross but comfy (couch covers would be an improvement). Water pressure is awesome and warm water works very well. The location is accessible and the hill is manageable to walk up, 10min walk to the closest beach access. The property was clean however, it was just the random rusted chair broken on the main bedroom veranda that caught us off guard. The property management company was professional especially being under the stress of schoolies season.

    Worst property I've stayed at on the island, been to Straddie a dozen times too many things to list ,already left 2 reviews . Owner skimping on essentials for a decent stay . Not recommended property .

    House has great views and was easy to live in. Only issue was a door to the top deck did not latch. Very windy during our stay so it did slam off and on during the night. Very easy fix though so not a big negative. Great street as it was quiet and friendly and the kangaroos in the yard were a bonus. Absolutely would stay here again. We stay every year and try a different place each time but would recommend this home for sure. Great beach holiday home.

    Great views and location, however the property requires improvements to make it an enjoyable experience.

    The bedroom carpet has stains all over it, with an obvious odour. The guests in this room were also surprised by an empty condom packet left in the room.
    The couch is also covered in stains, I don’t understand why this hasn’t been previously cleaned?

    The worn out mattress in the 3rd bedroom is not up to standard for guest accommodation, as you can feel springs dig into your body.

    The door leading up to the top floor deck does not latch closed, meaning it swings open and slams shut very loudly in wind, making it impossible to sleep during a windy night. The other lovely surprise of this is that rain blows into the main living area u controllably if it’s windy and raining.

    We departed one night early due to lack of sleep. Concerns were sent to Ray White with not even an acknowledgment received back in return.

    Stead clear until the property owner has invested in improvements on their home!

    This property was very disappointing compared to other rentals I have stayed at. The property was dirty, yard was not maintained, lots of spiders and other creepy crawlers, no screens on the doors, the windows were filthy, the lockable garage door had no locking mechanism, hot plates did not work properly, vacuum cleaner did not work, oven and BBQ had not been cleaned. We booked this property for 17 nights and the only thing that was good about our stay was the location, views and lovely neighbour’s. This property felt like a rental not a holiday rental.
